This feature allows you to copy a document and a folder.
You need to access the DMS from the left pane.

The DMS page is rendered on a new page, as shown in the example below. Navigate to a DMS folder to view the documents.

Use the “Search” text box to filter the document list.

Select the document in the table, then click the “Access” icon to view the document’s access information.

The “Access Details” are displayed in a pop-up window, as shown in the example below. Access has been configured for a user and application roles. The ADMIN user has default privileges for “View, Download, Remove, Update, Archive, Permission.” The non-admin (regular user) requires download access enabled to save a copy to the local folder.

Click the ellipsis to open the context menu for this document. You can access the following features: “Copy, Rename, Remove, Check Out, Send Document, Get URL, Download, AI Copilot, Permissions, View History, View Revisions, Archive, Classifications, and Details.” Select the “Copy” menu option.

A pop-up window appears for configuration. The application generates a document name to copy, which you can rename as needed. Select the checkbox to copy permissions and metadata, then click the “Copy” button.

A copy of the document is made, and a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner.

Select the copy document, click the ellipsis button, and select the “View History” menu option.

The document's history is shown in the image below. As observed, the security permissions and the metadata are copied from the source document.

Copy Documents and subFolders.
Select the folder and click the ellipsis to open the context menu. You can access the following features: “Copy, Rename, Remove, Create SubFolder, Upload Document, Get URL, View History, Folder Permissions, Default Document Permissions, Archive, and Details.” Select the “Copy” menu option.

A pop-up window appears for configuration. The name of the “source folder to copy” and the count of subfolders and documents are displayed. Select the target folder to copy by navigating the path. Provide the “target folder name” to copy. Select the checkboxes to copy subfolders and their documents. Click the “Copy” button.

A copy of the subfolders and documents is made, and a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner.

Go to the target folder to check the contents.
