Static Folder Access.

This function manages access privileges to the FlowWright application's static folders on the app server.

You can navigate to the Administration - Security menu option.

The Security Summary page is rendered as shown below.

Select the Security Summary menu to navigate to the Static Folder Access functions.

The page is rendered as shown below, listing any existing permissions.

Select the folder from the drop-down list. You may grant access to folders such as ActiveReports, API Help File, Content, DBScript, DocReport, Docs, FileAttachments, User Folders, Forms, InstallItems, Language Files, Microservices, OAuth Templates, OutputDocs, TempFiles, TemplateFiles, and almost all subfolders under the application.

Select any permission levels (No Access, Registered Users, or Full Access) from the drop-down list.

Configure the user types for all users and specific Users/Roles. The “All Users” option grants permission level privileges to all active FlowWright users.

The “Users/Roles” option grants selected users permission level privileges and authorization roles.

Select multiple users and authorization roles and click the Add Permission button. A confirmation message is displayed in the top right-hand corner. Click the “red X icon” to remove a specific permission. Click the Clear Permissions button to clear all the permissions and remove access to the configured folders.

An alert message as below prevents unauthorized users from accessing the folders.

Export.

This function exports the static folder permissions list as a JSON file to the local folder. You may import this list into the target FlowWright environment to replicate the permissions quickly.

On the Static Folder Access page, select the Export—JSON menu option. The permissions list is generated and downloaded as a JSON file.

The JSON file content is included here for reference.

Import.

This function imports the static folder permissions list as a JSON file from the local folder. After import, the existing permissions are overwritten.

Select the Import—JSON menu option on the Static Folder Access page.

A pop-up window appears for configuration. Select the JSON file from the local folder. The existing permissions are overwritten, and a confirmation message is displayed in the top right-hand corner.
