Steps are used in process definitions to automate the process. Steps perform specific functionality based on the parameters configured on the step.  Steps can be linked to each other using connections within the process designer.  In the new version 9.10, Steps are displayed as a table view instead of a box view as shown below.

FlowWright provides many standard workflow/bpm steps such as task, synchronize, decision, loop, etc. Users can create their steps and configure them using the steps page.  Newly configured custom steps can be used within process definitions.

A step contains 3 parts, metadata for the step, inputs for the step, and the returns for the step.
