Last published at: May 30th, 2024

The configuration section of the Tenant Manager includes the same items that are there within the Configuration Management section of FlowWright: building blocks or components required to build workflows, forms, and other functionality with the product.  Configuration items include the following items:

  • Dashboard Widgets -Dashboard Widget Categories
  • Data Types
  • Steps - Step Categories
  • Form Widgets - Form Widget Categories
  • Business Objects
  • User Management
  • Authentication Providers
  • Distributed File Storage - DFS Connectors
  • Event Handlers
  • Microservices
  • Invalid Configuration

The management of the above items is documented within the FlowWright Configuration Manager documentation. Within the Tenant manager, each of the above items has enhanced functionality specific to tenant management. Each item has a new menu called “MultiTenant” that includes tenant operations specific to each item type.

In a multi-tenant environment, the configuration items are designed to be auto-detected and configured within the Tenant Manager. Once configured, these items can be pushed to other tenants, ensuring consistency across the system.  The 'MultiTenant' menu, available for all items in the list, facilitates this process by offering the same functionality for selected or all tenants.
