Learn to use the recycle bin for process definitions

Move the definition to the recycle bin.

This function removes the process definition to the Recycle Bin. The list of items in the recycle bin may be emptied altogether or permanently destroyed as individual items.

On the Process Definition page, select the process from the list and click the Actions > Recycle Bin > Move To menu option.

 

A pop-up window is displayed for confirmation. Please select the checkbox to “View Recycle Bin” before removing it. Selecting the checkbox to “Delete Permanent” shall remove the definition premanently. Click the OK button to confirm. 

 

The process definition is moved to the “Recycle Bin” as shown below. 

 

Select the process definition from the recycle bin table, and click the Actions menu to “Restore, Destroy, and Empty” options. 

 

 

View the Recycle Bin contents.

On the Process Definition page, click on the Actions - Recycle Bin menu option. 

The Recycle Bin page is displayed in the new tab. Click on the date columns to sort the table in ascending or descending order. Use the Search textbox to narrow down the table list as shown below. 

 

Select the process definition from the recycle bin table, and click the Actions menu to “Restore, Destroy, and Empty” options. 

  • Restore - to restore it from the recycle bin. 
  • Destroy - permanently removes the process definition.
  • Empty - permanently removes all processes from the Recycle Bin.
