There are two ways to validate the workflow process.

Validate Selected

Navigate to the Create - Process Definition page. Select a process definition from the table. Click on the Actions - Validate menu option.

The application validates the process workflow, and an alert notification is displayed in the top right corner, as shown below.

Validate Self

Navigate to the Create Process Definition page. Select a process definition from the table and double-click to open it in Designer Canvas. Then, click on the Actions—Validate menu option.

The application validates the process workflow, and an alert notification is displayed in the right pane, as shown below. Validating a process workflow is about making sure the steps, unique variables and globals, logic, and outcomes of a process actually achieve the intended goal efficiently and accurately.

Here, the validation function notifies steps with the same name. Before generating and executing a new process instance, the design must be corrected for unique step names. Click the “Fix Duplicates” button. The application will generate unique step names and reconfigure the duplicate steps. You must save the process definition.
