This function shows the process instance and its sub-process instances in a hierarchical view.

On the process instance page, select an instance from the table and click the View - Instance menu option. 

By default, only parent process instances are listed and displayed on the page.

The parent process instance is displayed in a table, as shown below. 

The sub-workflow process instance is displayed in a table, as shown below.
