This page provides an insight into the access configuration for the Process, Forms, and ETL Instance pages.

You can watch this YouTube video for more information.

This function is purposeful when the business requires that the user's access be limited to these FlowWright artifacts.

On the Process, Forms, and ETL Definitions page, you must select the definition and navigate to the Security - Permissions menu to configure the access.

The “Manage Permissions” page is rendered as shown below. As observed, the Admin can configure the “View, Design, Remove, and Instance” permissions to the individual User or Application Role Users using the UI.

Search and add the Regular User(s) for whom permission must be set for the selected Process Definition. The search should contain at least “3” characters to initiate.

Select the user from the list and click the "Add" button. Use the checkboxes to “grant or revoke” the permissions.

  • The “View” permission, when checked, grants the user the ability to render the Process Definition.
  • The “Design” permission, when checked, grants the user the ability to modify the Process Definition.
  • The “Remove” permission, when checked, grants the user the ability to remove the Process Definition.
  • The “Instance” permission, when checked, grants the user the ability to view the Process Instances belonging to this Process Definition, regardless of who created it.

Click the “Save Permission” button. A confirmation message is displayed in the top-right corner. In the example below, the regular user “AlphaA” has the privileges to view the Process Instance.

Likewise, the Admin can configure access permissions on the Forms and ETL Definitions page by following the above approach.
