SFTP Connections

Learn how to create and manage secure FTP connections for FlowWright.

Select Connections - SFTP menu option to manage secure FTP connections.

 

The existing SFTP connections are listed in a table ordered by connection name, with a search box to narrow down the results. 

 

Create connection

On the Manage SFTP Connections page, navigate to the Actions - Create menu option to create a new SFTP connection. 

 

Provide the connection name, the SFTP path with port number, and the user name and password to make this connection. Select the checkbox to enable WRITE permission on the folder. Click on the TEST button to validate the connection. Click on CREATE to add this new working connection to the list.  

 

Edit connection

On the Manage SFTP Connections page, select a connection from the list and click on the Actions—Edit menu option to modify a new SFTP connection. 

 

Modify the changes to the connection name, SFTP connection ports, user name, and password. Click on the TEST button to validate the changes. Click on UPDATE to add these connection changes to the list.  

 

Remove connection

Select a connection from the list on the Manage SFTP Connections page and click the Actions—Remove menu option to delete a new SFTP connection permanently.

 

Click OK to confirm the action, and the connection is removed permanently. A confirmation message is displayed in the top right-end corner. 

 

Test connection

On the Manage SFTP Connections page, select an SFTP connection from the list and click on the Actions—Test menu option to test it. An alert notification message is displayed in the top right-end corner.
