Use this step to delete DB records by the created user.

deleteDBRecordsByCreatedUser Step

Description:

This step deletes DB records by the created user. 

Inputs

  • CreatedUsers– Select created by users to delete
 

 

Returns

  • True – step executed successfully
  • False – step failed to execute

Example:

Let’s build and execute the “deleteRecordsByCreatedUserDef” example.              

  • Create a new definition called “deleteRecordsByCreatedUserDef” 
  • Select the definition and click the “design” button
  • Drag a “deleteRecordsByCreatedUser” step from the toolbox
  • Connect the dots between the start and “deleteRecordsByCreatedUser” step
  • Define a variable/global to store the result after execution
  • Click on the "deleteRecordsByCreatedUser" step to configure its "Settings" properties. Provide a name to the step.
  • Click on the "deleteRecordsByCreatedUser" step to configure its "Advanced" properties. Click on the button to select users.
  • Click on the button to select the users. Type in the user name in the search text box. Use the right arrow key to confirm the user from the list on the left. 
  • The “Logging” setting configuration is necessary for documentation and also measure the workflow progress and the percent complete. This is acheived by configuring the step state and percent fields individually as shown in the images below. Configure the “Logging” using the following properties.
  • Save the process definition, create a new process instance and execute. Render the process instance. Click on the process step to view the properties. The step should delete the database records based on selected users.
