Form Designer Auto-save settings

Admin can configure the form designer auto-save settings by selecting the "Status -> Settings -> Forms" menu option, as shown below.

The Forms Settings page is rendered as below. You can configure the auto-save settings for Form Design and Form Submit states. You may permit users to attach the form applied during runtime.

The Form Designer's auto-save feature is set to OFF by default. Select ON and provide the time duration in seconds. Click the Save button to apply changes. A confirmation alert is displayed in the top right-hand corner. When auto-save is enabled, the application shall save the form definition during design time as configured.

The Auto Save feature is set to OFF by default for the Form Submit. Select ON and provide the time duration in seconds. Click the Save button to apply changes. A confirmation alert is displayed in the top right-hand corner. When the auto-save is enabled, the application shall save the form data during runtime as configured.

The permission type for Form Attachment is set to all users by default. This means when the Form is routed between users, the form attachments from the previous user can be downloaded by the other/participating users during the process workflow (instance).

You may configure the file attachment permissions to any of the options below. Click the Save button. The changes are applied to the new process instances.

  1. All users can access
  2. Only users involved in the form
  3. Only users involved in the form and process
  4. Only the people who attached files to the form
  5. Only the person who attached the file.
