We require Form Definitions to create Form Instances. Form Instances may be created manually or via a workflow.
You need to go to the Form - Instances page to create and manage form instances.

The Form Instances UI is rendered as shown below. The instances are listed in a table with columns for “instanceName, createdOn, createdBy, updatedOn, and definitionName”. The list items are sorted and paginated. The form definitions for these instances can be accessed by clicking their hyperlinks. Use the search box to filter the number of form instances displayed. The column selector can hide or show other columns as desired. The folders “Last 10 Updated, My Form Instances, Folders, Favourites, All” categorize the instances for quick access.

The Form Instance UI provides the following functions:
- Create a new form instance
- Rename
- Edit a form instance to submit it again
- Remove
- Mark/Unmark as favorite
- Render a form instance in read-only mode
- View the history of events
- View the involved users
- Export as XML/HTML/Schema/SQL file
- Import as HTML
- Archive the form instance
