This feature offers a user interface to create a new process instance, set parameters if needed, and execute the process in either normal or test mode (on behalf of another user). The Generate AI Test Data feature enables filling variables and globals with test data.
Use one of the following two ways.
On the process designer page, select the Actions - Create Instance menu option. The Create Instance pane appears on the right. Click the Generate button to create an instance name. Uncheck the Execute checkbox. Click the Create button to generate a new process instance. Click the Generate AI Test Data button to populate the variables and globals with test data. A confirmation message appears in the top right corner.

A new process instance is created in the background, and the status is “Not Started.”

On the Process—Instance page, select the instance and click on the Execute - With params menu option.

The other method is to go to the Process-Instance page.
Choose the Actions > Create menu option. A pop-up window appears for configuration. Pick the process definition from the drop-down list. You can view the definition list using the sort filter buttons—By Last Modified or By Name. Click the Generate button to create an instance name. Uncheck the Execute checkbox. Then, click the Create button to generate a new process instance.

A new process instance is generated in the background, and the status is “Not Started.”

Select a process instance, and click the Execute - With Params menu option.

The page opens in a new tab. You need to configure the execution time using the Calendar control. You can also run the process instance for a later date. Select the “user” from the drop-down list for Test Mode execution. You can choose the priority by clicking the “High, Medium, or Low” button.

Click the “Generate AI Test Data” button to populate the variables and globals with test data.

Click on the 'Execute' or the 'Execute in Test Mode' button. The process instance runs in the background, and a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner. The input parameters with values are shown on the page for verification.

The process instance status is “NotStarted” because it is scheduled for execution at a later date.
